DOWNTOWN PARIS RECORDS - ABOUT US

Created by the french Raphaël Bernier, Downtown Paris Records Ltd is an independent label resident in England but working from Paris (France). This label is born from the love of the « ghetto » music, like reggae and the music's styles influenced by it (Dancehall, Ragga) and from rap and his hip-hop culture. It aims to produce various artists coming from this « music » such as singers, composers, typesetters. Since several years, Downtown Paris Records meets up and collaborates with numerous artists for the productions of Dubplates for the No Frontier Sound System*, which is a member of the label. These connexions have allowed to get the label well structured with artists, studios, manufacturers, printers, radios, press media and national and international communication networks. Downtown Paris Records is made up of a web design , an administrative and a « services » departments (studio, manufacturing, administration). All Downtown Paris Records's products are sold by numericals distributors such as Believe, Itunes, FNAC Music, VirginMega.fr, SSB Store, Label Up, Vodafone Live and so on.

WHO MAKE OUR RIDDIMS

Downtown Paris Records rythms and riddims are worked with our personal composers/beatmakers but also with independents everywhere in the world. All rythms (riddims) are worked with minute detail and their are arranged with our best professional instruments played by professional musicians. Some of them are strictly Digital (Hip-Hop, Dancehall), composed on computer (Mac G5) and arranged with our personal professional soundbanks..to know some more about our riddim-maker

WHO MIX'N'MASTERIZE OUR RIDDIMS

Our rythms are mixed with professional engineers from Paris (France). A mix takes between 12 and 48 hours of work to be ready for the mastering..to know some more about our engineer
